PLP hires new head of investment management

Logistics developer PLP has appointed a new head of investment management.

William Sprott joins from Sera Global, now part of CBRE, and is tasked with expanding PLP’s development and investment management platform. He will be responsible for managing the company’s relationships with its capital partners and the formation of new managed vehicles, including capital allocation and liquidity solutions.

Sprott has more than 15 years experience in the sector and prior to Sera was head of corporate development at Charter Hall Group.

PLP chief investment officer Neil Dickinson said Sprott’s “proven track record in building and scaling real estate investment management platforms will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and grow”.

He added: “This company remains uniquely positioned to originate and deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns for its capital partners – in turn creating further opportunity for PLP to grow and diversify its operations, investor base, and assets under management.”
