Flexible office space Arrive has expanded at MediaCity UK’s 18-storey Blue tower in Manchester.
Operated by Peel Media, the new concept will now include fully fitted “plug-and-play” suites.
The works, managed by OBI, have seen a redesign and refit of six floors of commercial space, providing 55,000 sq ft of offices with a social hub on the 10th floor, a café, breakout spaces, sleep pods and a podcast booth. The reception area was also refitted with the existing space improved to include new digital wall, speed gates, virtual office post boxes and a waiting area.
Richard Lace, associate director at OBI transaction and asset management, said: “As businesses adjust to new agile ways of working, flexible and fully fitted workspaces, where businesses can collaborate and thrive, are proving popular.”
Chris Reay, MediaCity UK property director, said: “Small to medium-sized businesses want the flexibility to scale up and down in response to demand and Arrive offers this solution. In recent weeks we’ve seen a flurry of new occupiers move into Blue as well as existing customers taking more space and expanding to Blue.”
Blue is currently home to Huawei, PassMeFast and BlueJay.
