Green Property has secured billionaire Stephen Cohen’s Point72 for the first floor of its 8 St James’s Square development, SW1.
The investment firm, which oversees Cohen’s wealth, has committed to lease the entire 7,000 sq ft space at a rent of £147.50 per sq ft.
Point72 will join Société Générale and Helly Nahmad at the Eric Parry-designed, 65,000 sq ft scheme, which looks out onto St James’s Park.
Green Property director Mike Tapp said: “Our strategy all along has been to appeal to private family offices, banks, sovereign wealth funds, hedge funds and commodities traders, and it is rewarding to see that plan bearing fruit.”
CBRE and Knight Frank represented Green Property; Knight Frank represented Point72.
