Pollock’s Toy Museum looks for new home

The country’s oldest toy museum is looking for a new home after abruptly closing its doors after 70 years.

Pollock’s Toy Museum in Fitzrovia, W1, is appealing to the public for donations as it seeks new accommodation.

The Fawdry family, who bought the remainder of the defunct Pollock’s business in 1955, have owned the property since 1969. The recent change in circumstances was caused by a bereavement.
