Upmarket clothes retailer Polo Ralph Lauren (PRL) is to bring its Club Monaco fashion and cosmetics brand to the UK. PRL is negotiating for a 370 sq m (3,982 sq ft) property on Sloane Street in central London and hopes to open in September.
PRL acquired Club Monaco last April in a deal worth more than US$80m (£50m). Established in 1985, there are over 60 Club Monaco stores in Canada, selling clothes for adults and children. There are also outlets in Japan, Indonesia, South Korea and Israel.
