The Portman Estate has secured three new restaurants in Marylebone.
Devon health retreat, Yeotown, has signed a lease for its first stand-alone eatery at 40-42 Chiltern Street, W1, which is due to open in June 2017. Yeotown will take 1,230 sq ft over two floors.
Clarette – a standalone project from the youngest daughter of the family behind Chateau Margeaux has taken 3,180 sq ft at 44 Blandford Street, W1.
Butcher and grill, Boxcar has let 23 New Quebec Street, signing on 1,180 sq ft over two floors.
A redevelopment of three units at 10, 11 and 12 New Quebec Street, W1 into a new consolidated restaurant at 11-12 New Quebec Street and shop at 10 New Quebec Street is also scheduled for completion later this year.
Three newly developed units, two restaurants and one shop, on Old Quebec Street, which connects Seymour Street to Oxford Street, are opening soon.
The new arrivals will increase the estate’s restaurants to 34.
Philip Norris, head of retail for the Portman Estate, said: “We have already invested £120m over the past six years to transform this special area of the West End. Independent retail and leisure makes up an important part of the Marylebone character and these new additions show we continue to attract an exciting variety of new names and concepts.”
The agent for Chiltern Street and Old Quebec Street is Nash Bond, the agent for New Quebec Street and Seymour Place is CWM, and the joint agents for 11-12 New Quebec Street is Nash Bond and Shelley Sandzer.
