Discount retailer Poundworld has signed for a 8,250 sq ft shop in the Galleries shopping centre in Washington, Tyne and Wear.
It has signed a 10-year for a new shop that is being created by combining two smaller existing shops.
Chris Poole, asset manager M&G Real Estate, which manages the Galleries, said: “The Galleries remains a hugely popular destination for retailers – both national chains and local businesses – as evidenced by the wave of 16 new leases that have been secured since the start of the year.”
