Delancey has appointed Guy Powdrill as residential investment director.
He will focus on growing Delancey’s build-to-rent operator Get Living and expanding its portfolio.
Get Living is owned by Delancey, Oxford Residential, APG and Qatari Diar.
Powdrill joins from L1 Property, the real estate fund management arm of L1 Capital, where was investment director.
He has more than 20 years of experience in property, with previous positions at Goldman Sachs, CBRE and Countrywide.
Stafford Lancaster, investment director at Delancey, said: “Guy brings a wealth of experience in both the build-to-rent and the wider residential investment market and will be a valuable addition to this fast growing business.”
Powdrill’s appointment follows the recent expansion of Get Living to include Manchester, bringing the portfolio to a projected 3,000 operational homes by the end of 2019, with a further 4,000 in the pipeline.
