PPG submits 2m sq ft Doncaster plans

PPG Land and the Warmfield Group have submitted plans for 2m sq ft business park in South Yorkshire.

The joint venture has lodged proposals for the first phase of Bradholme Employment Park on a 207-acre site south of Thorne, Doncaster, near to the M18 and A180.

It hopes to build two industrial units of 1.2m and 850,000 sq ft on the site, and to add further development, including an employment training centre, a crèche, a leisure centre and starter units for new local businesses, through the Local Development Framework at a later date.

The application has been submitted to Thorne Moorends council following public consultation in April 2006 and November 2007.

If successful, the development would double the amount of office and business space PPG Land has developed since it was formed in 1990.
