In what is being hailed as the biggest such prelet in the area for several years, Bayshire has pre-let a 3,900sq m (42,000sq ft) industrial/distribution unit next to Jctn 10 of the M53 in north Cheshire to Velmore Fashions.
A rent of about £43.05 per sq m (£4 per sq ft) was agreed, claimed letting agent Fletcher King Riddell Braithwaite.
The development is known as “10:53”. Developer Bayshire is planning another unit of 4,180sq m (45,000sq ft) on its 2.6ha (6.5 acre) site.
