Prestbury Investments has transferred the leases of 21 of its Southern Cross homes to Methodist Homes and Royal Mencap.
St Raphael’s in Bromley, Swallow Wood in Rotherham and Hampton Lodge in Southampton, are among 14 of Prestbury’s ‘aged’ care homes that are transferring to Methodist Homes.
Royal Mencap is taking on the lease of seven Prestbury learning disability homes. Sites include Lombardy Court in Ipswich, and Fryers Walk in Norfolk.
Nick Leslau, Prestbury’s chief executive, said: “This transfer secures the future well-being of our residents and staff.”
A subsidiary of Prestbury Investments manages the portfolio of 21 properties, and Prestbury has a 20% interest in the joint venture company that owns the properties, PSX Holdings.
Prestbury was advised by CB Richard Ellis, and Knight Frank represented Methodist Homes.
