Pret a Manger is planning to double its size in the next year.
The privately-owned gourmet sandwich currently has 56 outlets. It is planning on spending £11m to add 18 units this year and 25 next. It is looking for sites in Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham.
The mixed-use scheme is expected to support 2,500 jobs once complete
The site holds hybrid planning consent for 1,493 homes, 475 hotel beds and 31,000 sq ft of commercial space
