Rock star Liam Gallagher has signed a permanent lease on his Pretty Green shop in Glasgow.
The former Oasis frontman has agreed to extend the lease with Henderson Global Investors for a further five years. Pretty Green is paying £90,000 pa at 190/208 Ingram Street, covering 4,100 sq ft over the ground and basement floors.
The brand opened its first store on Carnaby Street, W1, last summer.
Isla Monteith of Cushman & Wakefield, which advised Henderson, said: “Pretty Green is one of the surprise success stories in a challenging retail market, establishing a significant presence within a very short space of time, as much because of the star quality of the clothes as the famous name behind them.
“Ingram Street is the ideal location for them because the brand sits well alongside designer stores like Mulberry and Cruise but it also benefits from being close to the Merchant City with its trendy restaurants, bars and clubs.”
Savills represented Pretty Green.
