Primark opened its store extension at Capital Shopping Centre’s Lakeside in Thurrock last week. At 83,300 sq ft, it the fashion retailer’s fourth-largest UK shop.
The opening follows 25 new lettings at the centre this year, including Guess, Fossil, Henleys and Cult.
Caroline Kirby, property director at CSC, said: “We are thrilled that Primark’s extended store will provide the Lakeside shopper with even wider choice. Lakeside has had a fabulous year and the centre is virtually fully let.”
Breege O’Donoghue, director of Primark, said: “We are delighted to open the newly extended store in Lakeside Shopping Centre. The Primark store will offer a wider range of quality commercial fashion at value-for-money prices for all the family.”
