Discount clothing retailer Primark is planning to open a store in Boston as part of a strategy to move into the US market.
The Boston shop is due to open at the end of next year followed by several other outlets in the north east of America.
Primark, which is owned by Associated British Foods, made an operating profit of £298m in the six months to March 1, compared to £237m last year. Sales increased from £2bn to £2.28bn.
