Priory RE has signed two tenants at 101 Old Hall Street in Liverpool’s business district.
Mellior Construction has taken 4,245 sq ft on a five-year lease at £24 per sq ft, and BPS Solicitors has signed a six-year lease for 6,505 sq ft at £23.54 per sq ft, relocating to the city centre from Bootle.
The 136,000 sq ft office building, on the corner of Old Hall Street and Brook Street, is adjacent to Moorfields station and opposite the St Paul’s Square mixed-use development.
It has recently been updated to boost its sustainability credentials, with a new reception, cycle store and shower facilities, and a refurbishment of the 17,000 sq ft fifth floor.
A spokesperson for Priory said: “At all times we are aiming to achieve the highest possible ESG with our investments and this worked out so well with the recently refurbished fifth floor, as well as the lobby and the cycle area.”
Andrew Byrne, director at CBRE, added: “With the recent investment in transforming the building, its amenities and grade-A offering, it continues to attract discerning tenants looking for offices in a central, convenient location, with ESG at the heart of the recent refurbishment.”
CBRE delivered the refurbishment works and acted for Priory on both leasing deals.
