Steak bake and (vegan) sausage roll purveyor Greggs has issued a profit warning – that it will make more profit this year than expected.
In its fifth profit upgrade in only a year, the high street bakery announced that profits will exceed £107m, with new estimates hovering around £111m.
Greggs has now passed Starbucks to become the UK’s third biggest coffee seller and sells more sandwiches than Tesco.
It plans to open 90 more stores in the next year.
