ProLogis has begun the speculative development of a 168,000-sq ft shed in Didcot, Oxfordshire.
The building is scheduled for completion in May, with the quoting rent in the region of £6.75 per sq ft.
The 8-acre site on Purchas Road is located a mile away from the A34.
Jeremy Greenland, Vice President at the company, said: “We are very excited about Didcot as a logistics location evidenced by Booker, Texco and Christian Salvesen all being very near our project.”
“Didcot offers a significant discount to the Western M25 and Eastern M4 market and we are hopeful of early interest.”
The building which includes 10,000 sq ft offices is being marketed by Holley Blake and King Sturge.
