Prologis hits full occupancy at Brum logistics hub

Prologis UK has secured Top Cloud Logistics as the latest occupier at its Birmingham logistics park.

The Chinese e-tailer has signed a 15-year lease on DC6, a 164,103 sq ft facility that sits within Prologis Park Midpoint in the North East of the city. The facility was designed with sustainability in mind, achieving an EPC A+ rating and BREEAM Excellent certification.

The deal means that the park is now 100% occupied. Top Cloud joins existing occupiers on site including JLR, DHL and DP World who currently operate from the location.

James Hemstock, director for the capital deployment at Prologis UK, said: “[Top Cloud’s] choice to move to Midpoint underscores the strength of our portfolio and the Midlands’ status as a strategic gateway for growth.”
