White goods delivery firm Expert Logistics has agreed a deal with ProLogis to lease 360,000 sq ft of space at ProLogis Crewe 360 in Cheshire.
Expert Logistics is a subsidiary of DRL Holdings, the largest online kitchen appliance specialist in the UK.
Acquired by DRL in 2009, Expert Logistics handles white goods deliveries in the UK for DRL’s online brands, Appliances Online and Appliance Deals, as well as for retailers such as Marks & Spencer, Debenhams and Argos.
“The company is operating from a number of smaller buildings, so the move to ProLogis Crewe 360 will allow us to consolidate our distribution operations under one roof,” said Dave Ashwell, managing director of Expert Logistics.
Phillip Dunne, president of ProLogis Europe, said: “With this agreement, we’ve nearly completed the lease-up of our development portfolio in the UK.
“We are also pleased with the activity on our projects, recently completed and currently underway, that takes advantage of the strategically located land bank we have in the UK.”
