Prologis is set to increase capacity at its RFI DIRFT road-rail hub in Northamptonshire by almost 1m sq ft.
The company has revealed plans to speculatively develop two new logistics centres, DC327 (pictured) and DC628, totalling 327,044 sq ft and 627,707 sq ft respectively.
The project is aiming to secure BREEAM Excellent accreditation and an EPC A rating upon completion. Prologis expects to complete the scheme in summer 2023.
Sally Duggleby, vice president of capital deployment and leasing at Prologis UK, said: “Our customers rely on us to provide modern, high-quality facilities in prime locations, and we work hard to anticipate their requirements.”
DIRFT is already home to Royal Mail and household brands including Sainsbury’s and Tesco.
