ProLogis announced that it had signed two leases totalling 148, 545 sq ft on warehouses in Frankfurt, Germany.
The industrial giant said work had begun on a 93,110 sq ft distribution hub at the Martinszehnten industrial estate in Frankfurt which it had prelet to third-party logistics provider Baumann Spedition.
It also confirmed that water filtration company Brita had taken 55,435 sq ft at ProLogis Park, Frankfurt.
Brita joins tenants Soma and Simon Hegele at the 234,300 sq ft facility, which the group completed in 2003.
Jorg Schroder, first vice-president of ProLogis, said: “The buildings at Martinszehnten and ProLogis Park Frankfurt are both in excellent locations close to the city.
“Not only do they offer easy access throughout the Frankfurt metropolitan area but also throughout Germany, and, in fact, across Europe.”
