Prologis has been granted outline planning permission for a £150m logistics park at Appleby Lodge in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
The proposal for the site includes 2m sq ft of sheds. Detailed design and technical proposals will now be worked up for reserved matters planning applications, which will be submitted shortly to Wellingborough borough council.
Prologis vice president James Wright said: “There is a shortage of grade-A logistics accommodation in the East Midlands, so it is very good news that the council has granted planning permission for Appleby Lodge.
“We are progressing the technical work so that we can deliver the site to meet customer requirements and we will start marketing the first phase of the development soon.”
