The number of enquiries on properties has increased by 41% week-on-week, indicating a surge in occupier and investor confidence.
Agents began resuming on-site visits last week after the government eased restrictions on residential viewings.
Occupiers made 3,314 enquiries on commercial properties in the week beginning 11 May, according to the latest data from EG Propertylink. This compares with 2,348 made in the previous week, starting 4 May.
The most recent figures reflect the highest week-on-week increase seen since January’s new year rush, which is usually boosted by low figures over the Christmas period.
Property enquiries made by phone and email have been climbing week-on-week, highlighting a steady return to the market from occupiers and investors.
