Proposal to list Sheffield estate causes mirth among residents

Proposals by English Heritage to grant the 1950s Park Hill estate, Sheffield, listed status have caused disbelief and mirth among residents. It was the first estate to have pedestrian “streets in the sky”, meant to replicate the community feeling of terraced inner-city areas.
