JLL Spark has joined PropTech1 Ventures as a limited partner.
JLL’s US-based investment arm will team up with the European venture capital fund to take advantage of “the untapped innovation potential of the real estate industry”.
A final close of PropTech1 Fund I is planned by the end of 2021 at the latest.
“PropTech1 Ventures is proving itself as an outstanding investor in the European proptech and construction tech ecosystem,” said Raj Singh, managing partner at JLL Spark.
“Given our global focus, this partnership now provides JLL Spark the opportunity to be much closer to exceptionally innovative real estate solutions coming out of Europe and the DACH region, in particular.”
Nikolas Samios, managing partner of PropTech1, said: “JLL Spark is one of the longest-serving US proptech investors, with a global reach. Therefore, we see the investment in us as a further accolade. In addition, this will give us and our portfolio access to the global JLL platform, a market giant with more than 200 years of experience in commercial real estate and operations in over 80 countries.”
