Prosperity Capital Partners unveils plans for £175m resi-led Manchester scheme

Prosperity Capital Partners has submitted a planning application for a £175m residential-led scheme at the former Boddingtons Brewery site in central Manchester.

A 556-home mixed-use development, named Old Brewery Gardens, is proposed for the existing surface car park opposite the Manchester Arena.

The plans include 181 flats for private sale and 375 for rent. These will include one-bed, two-bed and three-bed options.

Designed by Assael Architecture, the buildings will be clustered around a communal garden, with other planned amenities including a gym, residents’ lounges, rooftop terraces and a large, central communal garden, which will be used as an open-air cinema and an outdoor yoga studio.

Prosperity Capital Partners is an investment and development company with plans to deliver more than 10,000 new homes over the next decade across the UK and Ireland.
