Prowting has reported a 23% lift in interim pretax profits to £11.9m on turnover up 11% to £102.5m.
The City is predicted full-year pretax profits up from £24.2m to £27,2m.
The company attributed increased profitability partly to focusing on building larger homes in better locations.
