Prudential and Macquarie have provided £100m towards the construction of the replacement building for the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh.
The insurance fund will provide £85m development finance through its M&G Investments division and the funds provided will be joined by £15m from Australian bank Macquarie.
Prudential’s commitment will be matched by £85m from the European Investment Bank.
