Prudential Portfolio Managers has bought the freehold of Crest Nicholson Properties’ 7,714sq m (83,000sq ft) Borough Parade shopping centre, Chippenham, Wiltshire, for about £10m.
The centre, which is 75% let, is the first shopping centre to be completed in the South West in the last five years. It will open on 2 November.
Littlewoods anchors the centre in a 1,858sq m (20,000sq ft) unit. Other tenants include Evans, Argos, Specsavers, New Look and Robert Dyas.
Prudential was advised by Donaldsons. Crest Nicholson was represented by Mansfield Elstob Main and King Sturge, who are also joint letting agents.
