Prudential shortlists developers for Reading Business Park in Berkshire

Prudential has shortlisted three developers as possible joint venture partners for its 209.025 sq m (2.25m sq ft) Reading Business Park.

The trio are Argent, Arlington, and Slough Estates/Stanhope. The Pru said this morning that an announcement will be made by the end of the year “as to which party, if any, will become a joint venture partner on the scheme.”

The park is close to junction 11 of the M4, two miles south of Reading town centre. A new A33 relief road will connect Junction 11 to Reading’s inner distribution road. Work on the new road is scheduled to start in the second quarter of 1997.

A Pru spokesperson has confirmed that appointed agents Campbell Gordon and Knight Frank are in discussion with several potential occupiers.
