Prudential signs up for 50,000 sq ft Belfast call centre

The Prudential has signed up for a 4,877 sq m (52,500 sq ft) office building at Clarendon Dock in Laganside, Belfast.

The fund has signed a 15-year lease on Beacon House at an initial rent of £108 per sq m (£10 per sq ft). The Pru will use the building, which is currently under construction, as a customer service centre.

Local developer CUSP plans to complete the development by the end of the year. The deal follows the recent announcement that Abbey National is to open a 5,295 sq m (57,000 sq ft) call centre in the city.

The Prudential was advised by Lambert Smith Hampton and Hamilton Osborne King represented CUSP.
