Public pavilion planned for Granary Square

King’s Cross Limited Partners has been granted planning consent for a new public pavilion at Granary Square, N1.

It will be constructed by Coal Drops Yard, a 100,000 sq ft retail and restaurant quarter.

The single-storey pavilion, designed by Bell Phillips Architects, will include a public café.

Julia Finlayson, project director at Argent, said: “This new public pavilion forms a striking gateway between two distinct public spaces: Granary Square and Coal Drops Yard.”
