Puma expands Manchester office space

Sports manufacturer Puma is to almost double its office space in central Manchester.

The German firm, part-owned by French luxury group PPR, is to sign for an extra 5,000 sq ft on the fifth floor of Canada House on Chepstow Street, after taking 6,350 sq ft on the sixth floor last year.

It is paying £16 per sq ft for the refurbished space on a ten-year lease with five-year break.

The building, opposite Barbirolli Square, is owned by two private investors.

Edwards & Co is letting agent; Beattie Partnership advised Puma.
