Purplebricks finds new home in Canada

First it was the UK. Then came Australia, California, New York, Las Vegas and Phoenix.

Now Purplebricks, the six-year-old online British estate agent, is launching in Canada as it continues its rapid expansion across the world.

The estate agent has bought a group called Duproprio, based in Quebec, for £29.3m in cash. It plans to invest a further £15m over the next two years into expanding the brand across Ontario and western Canada.
