PwC sets Bristol rent record

PwC has signed a 15-year lease for three floors of speculative office development 2 Glasswharf, Temple Quay, Bristol. The 37,157 sq ft space will be rented at £28 per sq ft, a record for the city.

Salmon Harvester and NFU Mutual jointly own the building and Alder King is sole letting agent. Building work on the 100,000 sq ft, £40m scheme began last October.

PwC will begin fitting out the top three floors in January 2015 and aims to move its staff in by next summer.

Bristol mayor George Ferguson said: “This letting is another great vote of confidence in Bristol and the enterprise zone.”
