Allied London has signed accountant PwC to take 50,000 sq ft at its major No1 Spinningfields office development in Manchester, as tipped by Estates Gazette in June 2014.
PwC will act as anchor tenant for the 343,000 sq ft building, which is expected to complete in spring 2017 and will be the tallest commercial tower to be built in the city in 50 years .
PwC will move its 750-strong team from Barbirolli Square to the 5th and 6th floors at the building.
Allied London chief executive Mike Ingall said: “We want this building to be a very sustainable development not just environmentally but commercially. We have placed a variety of communal spaces within the tower, including a rooftop restaurant.”
