Property services business Speymill has announced that its chief executive Bob MacDonald and non-executive director Sir James Mellon have resigned from the board with immediate effect.
The company said the board changes are a result of “ongoing restructuring” as part of a “strategic refocus on core activities, together with rationalisation through cost-cutting”.
Speymill said, as part of the restructure, Jim Mellon would become executive chairman and Denham Eke would take over as chief executive.
“The directors would like to extend their thanks to both Mr MacDonald and Sir James for their valuable contribution to the company, respectively, and wish them well for the future,” the company said.
