Simon Reuben, one half of the billionaire Reuben brothers, gives a rare interview to The Times Business as part of a drive to lose his tag of being “elusive, secretive”.
Reuben tells the paper that he has no real passion for property. “I don’t really like property, I just like the deals because they are easy”.
Of the recent Chelsfield deal, Reuben says: “We decided that Chelsfield provided the best opportunity to take a punt on property development.”
Looking forward Reuben says that he no longer has any big business ambitions.
“My ambitions are much more focused on my daughter and my brother’s children.”
