Quintain’s Ireland business has appointed Donal Kellegher from Cushman & Wakefield as a development director.
Kellegher was head of development land at C&W for four years. Before that he was a senior property adviser with the National Asset Management Agency.
The hire follows Quintain’s recent launch of its Irish subsidiary, with plans to develop 9,000 new homes and 600,000 sq ft of commercial space in the Greater Dublin area.
Kellegher will oversee the delivery of Quintain’s Adamstown project, which includes a new town centre and 4,000 homes across five neighbourhoods.
Quintain has also recruited Amy Lee as a senior development manager and Helena Kelleher as senior manager of sales and marketing. Lee joins from Richmond Homes, where she was development and planning manager. Kelleher was previously a senior surveyor with Kelly Walsh Property Advisors.
The company’s existing land portfolio covers 460 acres of prime assets in Ireland at Adamstown, Clonburris, Portmarnock, and Cherrywood.
Michael Hynes, joint managing partner of Quintain Ireland, said: “We have ambitious plans to develop over 9,000 new homes in Ireland, and we are expanding our team to allow us to rapidly scale up our development activities next year.”
