Quorum Development Partners has started speculative construction of a circa 90,000 sq ft office building at Newcastle’s Quroum Business Park.
The Q12 building will complete in November 2010 and will neighbour the office buildings recently taken up by Tesco Bank and Convergys Corporation.
The building will be offered to occupiers with five years rent free, in line wirth Quorum’s incentive scheme.
Quorum Development Partners development director Fergus Trim said: “With major players choosing our office buildings in recent months, it seems that we are seeing positive signs of business growth and expansion in the North East economy.
“It’s with this confidence that we decided to proceed on site with Q12. With such a landmark building on offer, on top of the rent-free incentives, we are hopeful of generating interest from more major, national players.”
