Wilmslow-based Quorum has lodged plans to demolish a Lamborghini dealership in Stockport town centre to build a four-storey, 70,000 sq ft office block.
The building would be used as a new headquarters for housing association Stockport Homes. A possible mixed-use second phase would comprise two further blocks.
The dealership, run by HR Owen, is in occupation on part of the site on flexible terms, with its lease having run its course.
NJL Consulting prepared the plans; AEW designed the scheme.
