QVT has effectively seized control of South Africa Property Opportunities.
The New York-based hedge fund is seeking to liquidate the £90m Aim-listed fund set up by Brian Myerson in 2006.
Myerson is embroiled in a bitter fight with QVT to stop it getting its way.
