Rackets make a packet at MIPIM

VARIOUSMIPIM 2016: More than £16,000 was raised at the LandAid’s MIPIM Tennis Classic 2016, with 28 property professionals competing in the event.

The Make a Racket tournament at Cannes Tennis Club raised £16,710 for LandAid, with the total set to rise as sponsorship money is collected.

A further £500 was raised in a raffle, while £800 was donated to Cannes Community Fund.

BNP Paribas was the headline sponsor of the event.

Liz Peace, chairman of LandAid and former chief executive of the British Property Federation, and Max Artuso, first officer of the Mayor of Cannes’ Office, presented the trophies to overall winner Steven Skinner, second placed Matt Paulson-Ellis, third placed Paul Monaghan and fourth-placed James Lugg.
