Radisson Edwardian to operate four-star Docklands hotel

Developer Ballymore has appointed Radisson Edwardian Hotels to operate a four-star, 169-bedroom hotel at its New Providence Wharf development in London’s Docklands.

The riverside hotel, which will be operated by Radisson under a long-term management ontract, is due to open in 2007. The hotel will comprise an eight-storey building connected to the base of the development’s 30-storey Ontario Tower via a triple-height glass atrium.

The hotel, designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill, will have a curved glass, stainless steel and terracotta façade to complement the existing buildings at the development. The interior will be designed by Aukett.

RH International and Berwin Leighton Paisner represented Ballymore and Baker & McKenzie represented Radisson Edwardian Hotels.
