Radisson Edwardian hotels head Jasminder Singh could lose ownership of a third of his family’s assets in a legal spat.
His father, Bal Mohinder Singh, has filed a suit in the High Court against Jasminder and his other son, Herinder. He has accused them of trying to force him and his wife out of Tetworth Hall, the family home, near Ascot Racecourse, in Berkshire. He claims his sons were brought up as part of the Sikh tradition of sharing assets and that all property owned by himself and his two sons are beneficially owned jointly. Jasminder could not be reached for comment but the Mail on Sunday says it is understood he claims he did not have a particularly religious upbringing and neither of his parents had regarded the family to be living under an agreement to share property.
