John O’Brien is to step down as the head of the Railtrack property team. He will be replaced by Ros Kerslake.
Kerslake joined Railtrack as director of new business, part of the property directorate, in February 2000.
Her previous roles include head of group services at Booker and director of business services at Gulf Oil.
She will take charge of the portfolio – one of the UK’s largest – at a time when Railtrack’s future hangs in the balance.
Last month, the old Railtrack property team was split in two.
O’Brien remained as director of the portfolio held by Railtrack plc, which is in administration.
