The Rank Group is to begin a £139 m revamp of its Butlin’s brand. Its three main centres at Minehead, Bognor Regis and Skegness will be entirely restyled.
Most of the initial £75m investment will be spent on accommodation and will make the resorts year-round attractions. A huge leisure centre is also to be developed at each site comprising bars, restaurants and entertainments.
In November, the holiday centres at Ayr and Pwllheli will be refurbished and renamed Haven All-Action Holiday Parks.
