Rank is to close Butlin’s holiday camps in Ayr, Scotland and Pwilheli, Wales and replace them with a new format.
The new formats will include leisure activities such as Mecca Bingo and Tom Cobleigh restaurants both of which are already owned by Rank.
If successful, the formula will be rolled out to Butlin’s camps at Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness.
