Property consultant Rapleys has recruited Tom Spencer to head its residential development consultancy.
The team was previously led by residential partner Angus Irvine. Irvine has taken on a newly-created role as the head of Rapleys Living, a new division that will encompass all residential agency functions, including residential development agency, senior living, student, co-living, and build-to-rent.
Spencer (pictured) joins from Savills, where he was a development director for five years, prior to which he held roles at Strutt & Parker, East Hampshire District Council, Vail Williams and Bruton Knowles.
Nick Fell, head of residential at Rapleys, said: “We are serious about continuing our growth in the right ways and the launch of Rapleys Living, led by Angus Irvine, is a major step forwards in our ambitions.
“As such, we are looking at opportunities to launch other residential agency-related services and hire talented people to further grow our expertise and knowledge in this area.”
